Questions about a bus card recharge

These cover nearly everything that reaches the desk. If yours is not here, the contact page has a number and an address that a person actually reads.

How do I top up bus card credit through this site?

Open the top-up page, type the long number from the back of your card, pick the amount you want, and choose whether to hear back by email or on WhatsApp. Send the form. An agent checks it and replies with a payment link; the credit is added once that payment clears.

How long does a hafilat recharge take to appear?

During working hours, usually within 45 minutes of the payment clearing. Requests that land in the evening, or on Friday and Saturday, are picked up the next working morning, so the total wait is longer.

What payment methods do you accept?

A credit or debit bank card, paid on the secure checkout page of our payment provider using the link an agent sends you. Cash, bank transfers and cryptocurrency are not options.

What fees and limits apply?

A flat AED 4 service fee per request, always shown before you confirm. The smallest top-up is AED 10 and the largest is AED 300 per request, with up to 4 requests per card per day. Nothing is added after you confirm.

Is it safe to enter my details here?

This site asks for a card number and an amount, neither of which can be used to spend money. Payment runs on our provider’s own checkout, reached from the link we email you. No agent of ours will ask you for a CVV, a one-time code or a banking password, so treat any message that does as a fake.

Can I cancel, and can I get my money back?

Before payment there is nothing to cancel — ignore the link and the request expires. After payment but before the top-up is submitted, write to the desk and the amount and the fee come back in full. Once credit sits on a card it cannot be pulled off, though we will help you trace it.

Which transport cards do you support?

Hafilat cards used on the Abu Dhabi public bus network, and nothing else. Cards issued in other emirates run on separate systems that this desk has no route into.

How do I reach a human being?

Call or message +971 56 419 2073 during working hours, or write to contact@auhbuspay.com whenever suits you. Email gets a written reply, which is worth having when the question involves money.
